"Humpty Dumpty", composed by Chick Corea, arranged by Bob Washut. 1981 - Pantheon Studio.
Soloing thru the tricky changes are Steve Marsh (tenor), Jim Henry (Flugel), Danny M. (piano), and Matt McKenzie (bass). Kelly Dean played great on the difficult vibraphone lines. Also features 'The Four Tenors' playing Joe Farrell's solo from Chick's record. Grant revoiced the Farrell solo for his four saxes who all played tenors on this song. Grant used to turn off the lights while we were rehearsing this sax soli, to see if we were getting it memorized.
The 1979 Ginders band playing "Catalpa Complex" (by Matrix 9). Dig the band vocals! The band had fun with this song. A funky Jacoesque bass line is played by Matt McKenzie.
Here are the musicians who played on above tracks.
